Day 29 of 30 Days of Biking was the night after a very fun school night; a Bike School night that is. On Thursdays at 8pm a bunch of my Twitter friends meet up to talk cycling, have some laughs, and meet other folks who enjoy riding their bikes. We all answer posted questions related to cycling and comment on each other’s posts. Bike School was founded by three awesome guys: Jim (@bikerly), Mike (@egggman), and of course, Darryl (@lovingthebike); Stevie (@steviedexter) is the official Bike School Blogger. These guys are really on a role with their Bike School idea because what originally was just a small group talking bikes has now grown into quite the peloton. In fact, the Bike School peloton is so big we even have our own cycling jerseys made by the fantastic folks at Groucho Sports! They’re super sweet and mine had just showed up in the mail on Day 29, so I was stoked to take it on its maiden voyage. I think it’s pretty awesome that this group of people I talk to (and is spread all over the country AND the world) has these jerseys to tie us together now. Hopefully by wearing them out on our bikes we will spark conversations with other riders wanting to know just what Bike School is all about….and the peloton will grow!
